The Llaneilian coastline is a veritable haven for wildlife. Frequently porpoises, dolphins and seals can be seen from the headland. Fishermen and artists enjoy the peace and tranquility at Llaneilian Bay.

Cemaes village (4 miles)is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty,partly owned by the National Trust.It has a small fishing port and is known for its beach. Cemlyn Bay,(7 miles)  was designated a SSSI in 1958, and is currently part of the Anglesey Heritage Coast and the Isle of Anglesey Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
