New Quay is a vibrant seaside town particularly during the summer months. The bay on which it stands enjoys fine stretches of blue flag sandy beaches, a harbour, and many excellent pubs and restaurants. Sea Field stands just above the centre of town with a spectacular panorama across New Quay Bay.

(above) The interesting harbour town of Aberaeron offers some interesting architecture and a gateway along the Aeron valley to delightful countryside in mid Wales - well off the beaten tourist routes. Do motor south and explore the upper reaches of the Teifi valley.

(above) Cwm Tydu beach is just a few miles down the coast. The Tydu stream forms freshwater ponds on the beach, and the cliffs either side of the cove offer some stunning coastal walking.
