The county and market town of Haverfordwest 12 miles away has a range of amenities including supermarkets, interesting independent shops, banks, post office, library with internet access, chemist, doctor, vet and filling stations.
Watersports Dale
- Dale, famed as one of Britain's finest waterways attracts enthusiasts, amateurs and beginners from all over the country and overseas to develop their sailing, wind surfing, surfing, water skiing and power boating skills throughout the year. West Wales Windsurfing offers tuition in all these sports for every ability throughout the year.
Walk Dale/South Pembrokeshire
- The Dale and Marloes Peninsula, the Milford Haven Waterway and St Brides Bay offer some of the finest coastal walks in Wales.
Boat trips, Dale beach, & Watwick Cove near holiday cottage Dale
- A boat trip to the local bird sanctuary islands from Dale and Martins Haven is a holiday highlight.
- West Dale Beach is a 10 minute walk and Watwick Cove with its 'white' sand is little known and treasured by locals.
Marloes Sands & Dingle Gardens
- An impressive, large, south facing sandy beach with large streams and amazing rock formations. An ideal location for a family day out. Do drop in to Marloes village and have a meal at the award winning Clockhouse, Mediterranean style cafe/bar. Delicious dishes are prepared using local produce including fish and shell fish.
- Keen gardeners will be thrilled by a visit to The Dingle at Crundale. A garden with formal beds, herbaceous borders and woodland trails. The pride of the garden is its 150 varieties of old fashioned roses.

Alternatively go to Clarbeston Road, a village just outside Haverfordwest and experience the thrill of off road driving 4x4's or JCB's.
