Dylan Thomas' New Quay & Cei Bach Beach
  • Dylan Thomas lived here and perhaps New Quay and its characters were the inspiration for ‘ Under Milk Wood’. The Cliff Walk was immortalised by Dylan in his poem ‘ Quite Early One Morning’ .

Cilgerran Castle & Heritage Coastal Walking
  • An inspiration to many artists including Turner. It stands overlooking the Teifi River where it merges with the Plysgog stream and once controlled the natural crossing place as well as the passage of sea going ships. Powerful twin towers remain.
  • There is wonderful walking on the protected Heritage Coast near this holiday property both on the Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion paths. Look out for bottlenose dolphins

Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort, Felindre Fach & Old Bakery Antiques, Sarnau
  • Do visit this fascinating reconstructed Iron Age Fort in a beautiful woodland setting. Take a tour around the fort, learn how a roundhouse was built, enjoy a picnic in the grounds and browse the gift shop.
  • Drop in to the Old Bakery antique shop to browse all kinds of everything from militaria to furniture, china, prints, textiles and more.
Cwm Tydu Coastal Walk
  • Leave from the Crown Inn, Llwyndafydd walk through dense woodland over a brige above a steep gorge and onto the beach. Stroll across the beach and leave via the kissing gate. Follow the wooded valley towards Nanternis. There is a steep climb. Walk through the village and back to Llwyndafydd where you can enjoy a well deserved drink and delicious meal in the Crown Inn.
Llangranog Beach
  • The lovely sandy beach of Llangranog has a Seaside Award Rural Beach. The village lies in a narrow valley with the fast flowing river Hawen passing through. Visitors are well catered for with two pubs, two cafe/restaurants and general store.
